Huntress tires to stop Vixen from hurting herself and is attacked again. She urgently appeals to Mari’s vanity and insist she channel the most stubborn and least cooperative animal in order to break the hold surrounding her. Vixen is eventually able to release herself from the the negative control of Brusaw and become an ally to Huntress.

Vixen pretends to kill Huntress at Brusaw’s command in order to get some time alone with her and ask questions. She can barely remember who she is. Huntress attempts to explain she’s one of the most disgustingly successful models of the past decade. As Vixen, she was JLA member. Somethings slowly come back to her, like she can channel animals abilities and their senses and wisdom. She’s having difficulty shaking the residual effects of being enthralled by Brusaw and hears voices telling her to cut out the sinful animal voices inside her.
