I recall Yildiray saying this was his first attempt drawing her. That’s hard to believe, this is one of the best Huntress art pieces I’ve seen. She’s alarming and gorgeous, exactly how I picture her. And the lighting in perfection.  I try not to covet, but I wish this were in my Huntress collection.

Huntress by Mike Mayhew

This is some kind of fierce, and was the art to Upper Deck vs Huntress card. Here’s the original pen and ink from Mike’s CAF gallery.

It also reminds me that Mike Mayhew’s first published comic worked was a Shining Knight story in Showcase 93 #9 which also featured a Huntress story. Her story concludes in Showcase 93 #10 and is one of my favorite Helena Bertinelli stories and worth a look.
